If your fallen fruit are still very small (say, currant-sized), it may be that they dropped before being properly ripe. Anything grape-sized or bigger is probably worth harvesting.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14030554612361898716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292132741535609417.post-40084293677027882702013-10-02T12:25:59.139+01:002013-10-02T12:25:59.139+01:00You were right, many of them have grown much bigge...You were right, many of them have grown much bigger, but I have smaller ones falling off the plant with their husks gone brown. I know it feels as though summer has ended but there is a long time between now and the first frosts. If yours are cherry-sized now, there's a good chance they'll continue to grow - all we need is a couple of sunny days to get them going again.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14030554612361898716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292132741535609417.post-50005575717285896592013-09-13T12:07:17.643+01:002013-09-13T12:07:17.643+01:00I've grown tomatillos this year but at the mom...I've grown tomatillos this year but at the moment they are only about the size of a cherry maybe a little bigger. I even spoke to the grower at The Isle of Wight Tomato stall company and he said they were too hard to grow. Rubbish!<br />I love these tomatillos, just as I love all sour foods.
